Updated News!
An October 2011 meeting between CCCA Board with Carmichael Recreation and Parks Department representatives resulted in new goals and time frame for the renovation to infrastructure and necessary improvements for comfort and safety of our dogs and humans at Carmichael Dog Park.
The new goals include:
- Scaling back from the complete Master Plan $250,000 cost to tackle only the most critical issues and those that require CRPD involvement (infrastructure/drainage).
- Raising 1/2 of a total of $40,000 by June of 2012 so that work can begin (Phase 1) on the infrastucure by September 2012.
There are ways to contribute cash, checks, and credit card donations. Please consider these other payment options:
- You can mail check or money order made out to CRPD Foundation to P.O. Box 1603, Carmichael, CA 95609. Specify Master Plan Donation.
- You can use the Iron Ranger Box near the entrance to the dog park/Canine Corral for checks or cash. Please enclose cash in an envelope marked clearly CRPD Foundation, Dog Park Master Plan Donation.
- You can use the Donate button on the main page or here:
All of the above options are tax-deductible and the funds are kept separate from the regular dues and other donations and revenue of CCCA.
Another way to participate is to purchase a Memorial or Personalized Brick. These bricks can be engraved with 3 lines (small) or 6 lines (large) commemorating any pet, human, or special event.
